Donating with confidence matters to us, which is why Better Together Georgia is committed to transparency. 

Every nonprofit we partner with is financially stable, transparent, and accountable. We rigorously vet each organization, so you know your contributions are making a positive, measurable impact in the community.  

We evaluate each of our nonprofit partners on the following:

1. Mission and Goals 

2. Budget and Financial Transparency 

3. Impact Measurement 

4. Sustainability 

5. Leadership and Governance 

6. Program and Operational Efficiency 

7. Partnerships and Collaborations

8. Risk Management Plans.  

We evaluate each nonprofit on the following and assign a numerical score (1-5 in each category) based upon the organization's input.  

Organizations scoring 15 or more are considered vetted and recommended.    

• Mission Alignment: how well the nonprofit’s mission aligns with goals.
• Financial Health: budget transparency and financial efficiency.
• Impact Measurement: on clarity and strength of impact reporting.
• Leadership and Governance:  on board structure and leadership effectiveness.  

We share our findings with our community to build trust and confidence. We highlight the following across our social media platforms and monthly newsletters.
